Silence

Silence is a keyword in Artifact.

Silence prevents the afflicted hero from activating any abilities, which includes both hero abilities and item abilities, but not passive abilities. Additionally, a silenced hero cannot be used to fulfil the color requirement for casting spells (If you silence the only Green hero in a lane, your opponent cannot cast any Green spells.)
